Igor Krasovsky

 

Born in Kiev in 1982, from 1997 to 2000 he studied percussion at the Reinhold M. Glière Conservatoire in his city, and subsequently gained his diploma with Alexander Blinov at the Tchaikovsky Music Academy. Between 2005 and 2009 he completed his studies at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen (Germany). He is in great demand, giving recitals and collaborating with a number of orchestras and chamber music ensembles. He has taken part in the Lockenhaus Kammermusikfest founded by Gidon Kremer and features on the album produced by ECM Gidon Kremer Edition Lockenhaus celebrating the 30th anniversary of this important festival.
