| The thirst for money, seen as the means to a fairly happy life, and the moral unrest caused by the perception of wealth as evil, clash in the conscience of a man who is about to be initiated, almost in spite of his (shaky) will, to the world of business. It’s the story of a Lombard businessman who smuggles money out of Italy to invest in Switzerland. His counsellors are a couple of rich Milanese experts in the circulation of “black money”... trustworthy or shady characters? The action takes place around the lake of Como, in Abano Terme, along the Italian and Swiss border and in Lugano. |
