How many tales, incidents and even adventures can lie behind a pizza. We discovered all this when we shot the little film “Pizza”, and we turned to the European Association of Pizza cooks in order to find pizza cooks who were a little out of the ordinary - the ones who create a show as they work, stretching out the pasta, and making it spin and dance through the air. We met some true virtuosi, showmen who belong to the so-called “acrobatic league”. The ones who took part in the film are in fact three European champions and the world champion of 1992. One of them, as well as managing a restaurant, tours the whole world featuring himself in a choreographic number using a pizza dough and music by Michael Jackson. An entertaining show, well worth seeing... and eating. |
