Love and sexuality are an integral part of our social life. Thanks to them we are able to form bonds and to cooperate with other individuals. Such personal relationships are fundamental for all human beings, who are essentially social organisms. But has it always been like this? How is it possible to study this crucial aspect of our private life in order to understand it better? According to evolutionary biologists to thoroughly analyze some of our behaviors such as sexuality it is necessary to travel back in time with the help of archaeologists and paleoanthropologists. The documentary describes the research work of Swiss archaeologists. The results of years of study reserve us many very interesting discoveries, which throw a different light on the private life of the Swiss in the past, from the nineteenth century to the Paleolithic.
